You got windows live writer to work with sharepoint? Could you expand on this? I have had trouble with authorization errors.

Ross - I had trouble with B2 of WSS - auth errors as well :) (supprise supprise)

In B2 TR - if you 'turn off accept username/pass' in the Blog API section in the Web Application Settings from the central admin - it will use the current site auth. scheme.

Then in Live Writer - follow the prompts for MetaWebLog provider.

e.g.
I had a blog under a personal site.
http://moss:39201/personal/administrator/blog

the API for this was
http://moss:39201/personal/administrator/_layouts/Metaweblog.aspx

Check your IIS logs and WSS logs to see if entries are being made.
